You must be 18 or over

Jaba Juice contains khat (miraa), a natural stimulant. We sell only to adults. By ordering you confirm you are at least 18 years old. We may ask the rider to check ID on delivery and may refuse to hand over an order if we are not satisfied — in that case the order is cancelled and refunded, less the delivery fee.

Khat is legal in Kenya but banned in many other countries. We sell and deliver within Kenya only. Do not attempt to carry our products across a border where they are prohibited — that is your responsibility, not ours.

Health

Our drinks are not medicine and make no medical claim. Effects vary from person to person. They are not recommended for anyone who is pregnant or nursing, or for anyone with a heart condition, high blood pressure or anxiety. If you are unsure, or you take medication, speak to a doctor before drinking. Consume responsibly.

Orders and prices

All prices are in Kenyan Shillings and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is charged separately, based on how far you are from the store that serves you, and the exact fee is shown before you pay.

An order is a request, not a completed sale. We accept it when the store confirms it. If a flavour turns out to be unavailable, or your address is outside our range, we will contact you and refund anything you have paid. We may also decline an order where we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these terms.

We try to keep prices and stock accurate, but if a price is obviously wrong we will tell you before charging you rather than hold you to a mistake.

Payment

We take payment by M-Pesa. At checkout an STK push is sent to your phone; enter your PIN to confirm. If the prompt does not arrive — some handsets never show it — you can pay to our Buy Goods till 8815854 and tell us the confirmation code instead. We never see or store your PIN.

Delivery

We deliver within 20 km of a store. Beyond that, call us and we will try to arrange something. Delivery times shown on the site are estimates, not guarantees — traffic in Nairobi is what it is.

Please be reachable on the number you gave. If the rider cannot reach you and cannot deliver after a reasonable attempt, the order may be returned to the store and the delivery fee is not refunded.

If something is wrong with your order

Because these are fresh, perishable drinks, we cannot take back a bottle that has been opened or that has left our care in good condition. That is a food safety rule, not a technicality.

But if your order arrives damaged, spoiled, incomplete or simply wrong, tell us within 24 hours on +254 711 515 636 or hello@jabajuice.co.ke, with a photo if you can. We will replace it or refund it. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

You can cancel an order at no cost any time before the store has accepted it. Once a rider is on the way, the delivery fee stands.

Points and promotions

Points earned on orders have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and may expire or change in value if we change the programme. Promo codes are single-use unless stated otherwise and may be withdrawn at any time. We may cancel points or codes obtained by abuse.

Reviews you write

Reviews must be your own honest opinion of a product you have tried. One review per person per product. We will remove anything abusive, dishonest, defamatory, or posted to promote something else — but we will not remove a review simply because it is negative. By posting you allow us to display your review and display name on the site.

Our liability

We stand behind our products and will put right anything we get wrong. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.

We do not promise the website will always be available or error-free.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you order. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.
